This week will see the students going to Xavier in 2015 attending a transition day on Thursday. This is a special transition as most students attending in 2015 will be going on Friday. The reason for the special transition day is because Faith Challenge is on this Friday. A few things about this day.
- Students need to wear sports gear on Thursday to support the activities for the day.
- Students are to meet outside the Bosco centre on the lawn at 8.45am
- Students will travel back to school via an arranged bus and a staff member from school will be with them.
I had a chance to speak with Xavier Staff members and inquired about students coming on Friday instead of Thursday. The conversation assured me that the students will have a valuable transition on Thursday and there is no need for the children to go on Friday. This is because on Thursday they will have 8 teachers to about 30 children ratio. This will allow the students to get to know their oratory leaders better and ask more questions than if they were in a group of 130 students.
